Deconstructed work shirt

Work can take up most of our time. Shirts that have been worn for a long time have a tactile, lived in quality. I hope to deconstruct five old shirts, and then reconstruct them into something new. Even though the shirts will have been reformulated into something else they will still bear something of their past use.

The themes of work and time are important themes in my current textile practice. Just what the outcomes of these reconstructed shirts will be is unknown at the present.
