Still Life

A still life painting or drawing can often capture the things we use or see everyday. Things perhaps that we see as necessary to our everyday life, or things perhaps that we take for granted.  When working from home, a collection of mugs and plates might gather as we are often preoccupied with the checking of emails or answering calls.

Time is often a concern when at work, not being late, remembering to send that email before it is too late and if you work globally, being mindful of the different time zones and whether the person you are taking with is having their first morning coffee or considering a cup of cocoa before they retire!
