Floral Design

I enjoy making floral design patterns on cloth and using various stitches to add texture to the design. This pattern design was based on the flowers and leaf shapes found in my garden. I painted a watercolour design first on paper and then pressed the paper onto cloth, after it had dried I then hand stitched French knots, Seeding stitch and Straight stitches.
